Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year 2009. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. She did not learn the cause of death until thirteen years later. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father and published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea as well as her sister Sinead, were raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was awed by horses, races as well as the race industry. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young teens. However, she knew, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be in a career and she preferred to perform.
